This beginner-friendly photography walking tour is designed for anyone who wants to feel more confident using their camera while exploring beautiful Southport. No advanced experience is required — just bring your camera (or smartphone), curiosity, and a willingness to practice seeing the world differently.
As we walk through historic streets, parks, graveyards and enjoy scenic waterfront views, you’ll learn the fundamentals of photography in real time: how to compose a photo, work with natural light, choose angles, and capture moments that tell a story. The pace is relaxed, with frequent stops for demonstrations, guided exercises, and one-on-one help.
Participants receive simple, practical instruction that’s easy to apply immediately. You’ll leave with stronger technical basics, a better creative eye, and a collection of photos that show your progress from the day.
This workshop is about learning without pressure — building skills, asking questions, and enjoying the process alongside other beginners in a supportive environment.
Enrollment & Cancellation Policy
To keep the experience comfortable and hands-on, enrollment is limited to 12 participants.
Because space is limited, workshop registrations are final. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable. Participants who cancel late or do not attend forfeit their registration fee.
Weather Policy
If inclement weather is predicted, participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and the workshop will be rescheduled. Anyone unable to attend the new date may request a full refund.
If weather changes during the workshop, we will do our best to continue at alternate or covered locations whenever possible. If safety conditions require the workshop to end early, no refunds will be issued.
